DELTA is changing the face of education at North Carolina State University through learning technology and distance education support. As times change and technology transforms, DELTA helps faculty use technology to evolve the education process. This organization serves and supports the needs of students and faculty by tapping into cutting-edge and innovative resources and incorporating them in teaching. DELTA is an integral part of NC State and continues to work toward meeting the needs of its students, partners and colleagues by inspiring progress and pioneering ground-breaking initiatives.

DELTA’s role within the Office of the Provost is to foster the integration and support of learning technologies in NC State’s academic programs, both on the campus and at a distance.

We coordinate the funding and production of all distance-based credit programs and courses for the university, and promote high-quality education by extending the reach of the faculty and collaboratively applying expertise in technology and pedagogy in an efficient, effective, and service-oriented environment.
